This book provides
vital information that contradicts the widely misguided premise that milk does
a body good. More people need to read and listen to the data that confirms the
fact that Milk products are terrible for humans to consume. Milk is causing huge
problems for consumers.
The other point I
want to mention concerns the milk industry and the pasteurization/
homogenization standards. The circumstances that imposed these procedures have
absolutely nothing to do with public health of course. The author mentions that
these standards fail to produce a hygienic milk anyway, due to the mass
production practices, and that the potential nutritional value of processed
milk is significantly lower, but fails to say that homogenization and
pasteurization were actually imposed so that the milk companies can have
absolute control of every single independent farmer, control the market and
drive the prices as high as they want. I think that such a perspective would be
useful in a book about milk. Best Book: The untold story of milk.
